Notes/Reminders: 

DRAMA Classes start this week!

Green class needs to bring a picture from a magazine for art for Tuesday.  Objects are easier (car, shoe, flower, ice cream cone) than people or animals.

Planner: Remember to have it signed every day.

Independent Reading: Read 20 minutes per night. 100 minutes required per week.  Record minutes in planner.

EARPHONES/HEADPHONES: EACH STUDENT NEEDS HIS/HER OWN SET. THEY DO NOT NEED AN EXPENSIVE PAIR. A FEW STUDENTS HAVE REPORTED THAT THEY BOUGHT THEIRS AT THE DOLLAR STORE.

Homework:

Math: No assignment. There was a test in class today.
  

Science:  Think heat! Awesome job today, 6th graders.

Language Arts: No assignment. Today was Bully Blocker Lesson #5 with Miss Emily. Argumentative essay, "iPods and MP3 Players In The Classroom." Due: Friday, March 7. 

Reading:   Roman Numerals Packet Due: Thursday 27th.  
                   Parent Letter #10 Due: Wednesday 26th. 
          Guided Reading Activity on "ROME."  Due: Thursday 27th.

Keyboarding: Students should be typing at 28 wpm minimum.  Practice at:  Free-Typing-Test.com.
