Notes/Reminders:

DRAMA Classes this week!

Green class needs to bring a picture from a magazine for art for Tuesday.  Objects are easier (car, shoe, flower, ice cream cone) than people or animals.


All work, including #7-4, due in Math by Wednesday, March 5.  All work due in other classes by Thursday, March 6.  Send assignments with a friend or sibling if absent on Wednesday.

Planner: Remember to have it signed every day.


Independent Reading: Read 20 minutes per night. 100 minutes required per week.  Record minutes in planner.

EARPHONES/HEADPHONES: EACH STUDENT NEEDS HIS/HER OWN SET. THEY DO NOT NEED AN EXPENSIVE PAIR. A FEW STUDENTS HAVE REPORTED THAT THEY BOUGHT THEIRS AT THE DOLLAR STORE.

Homework:

Science: Good work on the catapults today.  All student built catapults are due: Monday, March 17.

Language Arts:  DOL Sentences #38-10. Due: Thursday, March 6. Argumentative essay, "iPods and MP3 Players In The Classroom." Due: Friday, March 7.  Poem Performance: "Don't Quit." Due: Monday, March 10. Remember to practice saying it LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR if you want an excellent grade!


Reading:  Study Rome Vocabulary - Ancient Rome Vocabulary Quiz TOMORROW
Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli,  Daily summary required; completed through ch. 20

Keyboarding: Students should be typing at 28 wpm minimum.  Practice at:  Free-Typing-Test.com.
