Notes/Reminders:

Parents:  Please attend the caucus meeting of your choice this week and vote for those who will be friends to public education.  Democratic on Tuesday, March 18 at 7:00 at Monte Vista.  Republican on Thursday, March 20 at 7:00 at South Jordan Middle.

U of U Elementary Engineering Field Trip: This Monday, March 24th.  Please remember to bring a lunch from home preferably in a disposable bag unless you already signed up for a school sack lunch.

Planner: Remember to have it signed every day.

Independent Reading: Read 20 minutes per night. 100 minutes required per week.  Record minutes in planner.

EARPHONES/HEADPHONES: EACH STUDENT NEEDS HIS/HER OWN SET. THEY DO NOT NEED AN EXPENSIVE PAIR. A FEW STUDENTS HAVE REPORTED THAT THEY BOUGHT THEIRS AT THE DOLLAR STORE.

Homework:

Math:  We learned about converting units of length.  Worksheet 7-12 is due Tuesday the 25th.

Science: No Assignment

Language Arts:  No Assignment

Reading:  Group Poster/Presentation on Middle Ages topics - Great job everyone!
