All Missing Assignments Due Today: Friday, October 25!!!

Marvelous Monday will be this coming Monday, October 28.  Students need to check Skyward for their missing assignments, and ask the appropriate teacher for the work, if they do not have it.

Purple Pinkies: Remember to bring your permission note, if you want your right pinky fingernail painted purple, to remind you of your pledge to "Be A Buddy; Not A Bully."

Halloween is coming! Please remember to bring in your Halloween party donations! We are in need of bags of candy, money, etc.  

Homework:

Planner: Remember to have it signed every day.
 
Independent Reading: Read 20 minutes per night. 100 minutes required.  Record minutes in planner.

Math: WS 3-4 (dividing decimals) Due: Monday, October 28th.

Science: Test next Wed, 10/30.  For anyone interested in looking at the outstanding moon animation, it's at: http://astro.unl.edu/naap/motion2/starpaths.html

Language Arts: 

• Ancient Egypt Vocabulary Definitions Due: Monday, October 28.

• Poem Performance (100 points) "The Road Not Taken." Poem needs to be memorized and recited LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR. Due: Monday, October 28. 

• Five paragraph essay "How To Handle A Bully." Due: Thursday, October 31.

Reading: We are reading "The Adventures of Felix the Gnome: Ogre." We are asking students to write a book review on Amazon.com  due by Tuesday, November 5.  If you do not want your child doing the book review online, they can type it out, turn it in to us, and it will not be published.
