Planner: Remember to have it signed every day.

Independent Reading: Read 20 minutes per night. 100 minutes required.  Record minutes in planner. READ EXTRA MINUTES FOR THE PTA READING CONTEST!!!

PTA Reading Contest  Keep track of your minutes in your planners between January 17th and February 18th for a chance to win some terrific prizes!  See the flyer that went home today.  There are individual prizes as well as class prizes.  Our school could win a visit from a Utah JAZZ basketball player!!!

EARPHONES/HEADPHONES: EACH STUDENT NEEDS HIS/HER OWN SET. THEY DO NOT NEED AN EXPENSIVE PAIR. A FEW STUDENTS HAVE REPORTED THAT THEY BOUGHT THEIRS AT THE DOLLAR STORE.


Homework:

Math: 
We are learning how to solve algebraic equations using the inverse operations of addition and subtraction, as well as multiplication and division. 
  

Science: Lab quiz on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014

Language Arts: SRI Test today. No assignment.

Reading: Began our unit on Ancient Rome..  Discussed vocabulary and will be drawing maps tomorrow.  Please bring your colored pencils.

Keyboarding:  Students should be keyboarding at 28 wpm minimum.  Practice at:  Free-Typing-Test.com.
Timed tests are part of students' Technology grade.
