Notes/Reminders:

Planner: Remember to have it signed every day.

Independent Reading: Read 20 minutes per night. 100 minutes required.  Record minutes in planner. READ EXTRA MINUTES FOR THE PTA READING CONTEST!!!

PTA Reading Contest  Keep track of your minutes in your planners between January 17th and February 18th for a chance to win some terrific prizes!  See the flyer that went home today.  There are individual prizes as well as class prizes.  Our school could win a visit from a Utah JAZZ basketball player!!!

EARPHONES/HEADPHONES: EACH STUDENT NEEDS HIS/HER OWN SET. THEY DO NOT NEED AN EXPENSIVE PAIR. A FEW STUDENTS HAVE REPORTED THAT THEY BOUGHT THEIRS AT THE DOLLAR STORE.


Homework:

Math:  Work Sheet 5-17 Due Monday. Friday will be the Unit 5 Review for the upcoming Unit 5 test on Monday.  We are learning how to solve algebraic equations using the inverse operations of addition and subtraction, as well as multiplication and division. 
  

Science: Great work on the labs 6th grade. Be ready for your lab quiz on Monday!

Language Arts: No assignment.

Reading: Have some comparison's between the movie and the novel Tuck Everlasting to discuss on Monday.  HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND!!!!

Keyboarding:  Students should be keyboarding at 28 wpm minimum.  Practice at:  Free-Typing-Test.com.
Timed tests are part of students' Technology grade.
