Marvelous Monday Fun Activity September 30, 2013



Great job Sixth Grade Students!! Many of you have worked really hard this week to turn in your missing assignments.  

If you still have missing assignments, there is still time to turn them in tomorrow, Friday, September 27.  You won't want to miss out, so try hard to get all of your work completed and turned in tomorrow.

This Friday, September 27, is the LAST day to turn in any missing assignments. Be sure to check your grades on SKYWARD. Students who have missing assignments will be attending study hall on Monday, September 30, instead of participating in our "Marvelous Monday" fun activity. 

Final week for book orders!!!  Book orders have been sent home.  You can submit paper orders with checks payable to Scholastic or order online at Scholastic with the class code HG829 for Elk Meadows Sixth Grade.  

All orders, paper or online, are due Friday, September 27.  Give paper orders to Mrs. Boehme or Mrs. Anderson.

DON'T FORGET: All PTA Reflections entries are due Monday, October 7. This can count as one of your requirements for your Fantastic Falcon Leadership Award.  

Homework:

Planner: Remember to have it signed every day.
Read 20 minutes per night; 5 nights a week. Record minutes in planner.

Math: We are studying area and perimeter of triangles and parallelograms. Wkst. #2-3 Due: Monday, September 30.  Extra Credit is available for playing the ThinkCentral Mega Math for Unit 1 through Sunday, September 29.

Science: Test on Wednesday, October 2, for our Microbiology Unit.

Language Arts:  Preposition Quiz #5 on Tuesday, October 1.  Memorize all the prepositions.  Practice the hand actions to help you memorize. Spelling Counts!!!
